P1000m5 Where to mount go-pro

I have a go pro with the roll bar mount. I also have the Honda split window and roof. I am struggling on where exactly to mount the camera for a good view of trail. I am thinking inside the cab on the bar between front seats and the bed.

Has anyone mounted one and have some experience on placement for the best video?

Just make sure you put the little rubber "lock" in the quick release. That doesn't just serve as a lock, it reduces harmonics that make the picture shaky.

I tossed that in the garbage with kids wrapping paper and can't find it. I thought that was for packing only. Crap!!
