P500 Which CB antenna for my 500 and where should I install it?

I just bought a Uniden Pro505XL CB radio for my 2017 Pioneer 500. It already comes with a glass mount antenna but I don't have a windshield. I didn't pay any more, the combo was on sale and just as cheap as the radio alone. I'll just keep the antenna for another radio but can anyone recommend a CB antenna and an installation location? I would like to be able to reach other radios within a couple miles. Feel free to share photos of your antenna mount locations. Thanks much!

I've toyed with the idea of adding a cb on my p5 but haven't yet. Looking forward to hearing some ideas as well.

this is what I did on my 700 but I also built the headache rack before I had plans for the CB. I get right at a mile of reception with a 2' Firestik and 18' of coax.

Thanks for sharing. Is that a custom mounting bracket or did you purchase it?

the chrome L shaped bracket was purchased at a cb shop, they're only $4-5 I think.
