P1000 Who has the most miles?

I’ve always heard how reliable Honda’s are. I’m just curious how many miles some of you out there have on the original motor? Thanks!

2018 1000-5 bought in June of that year and I've got over 7500 miles so far.

I've personally seen 2 3P work over 6000 miles each, but ti haven't worked on either for about 4 year. Never had any work besides maintenence, not even a clutch until we did the update, then I replaced them because we were there anyway.

I believe one had a torn axle boot and the other had a sway bar bushing mount bolt strip from the frame nut.

My GM sold his '16 with 2400 miles, no engine work, just frame stuff where it was rolled. His friend had one with 3500 miles and never touched anything, but he greased the bearings ever other ride. He rode every weekend down in Harlan County KY.

The internals of the engine are strong as long as they stay out of the water and the air filter is maintained.

Last I heard is he sold his 1000 pioneer at 19,000 but has many thousands of miles on his new talons. He's part of the reason for my confidence in the honda.

Yeah that is pretty much what I remembered too.

I have 13,000 miles on my 2016 with nothing more than the normal, common issues. (Replaced fuel injector wires, can't seem to keep a muffler intact on the thing.) My engine, trans and sub-trans are rock solid. Still on the original pre-upgraded clutches.

No problems that I heard of, more of a preventative maintenance to help with resale. Pretty sure he had a Honda Rubicon Fourtrax with 64K miles on it before SXS got popular.

I had a 2017 p1000 put over 17,000 miles zero problems. Bought a new p1000 in January of 20 and over 20,000 miles no problems until now. Muffler just fell apart.

What kind of riding do you do?

My 2018 1000-5 Deluxe is nearing 13K since I bought it used at 2500. I'm running about 4k a year. No problems with the engine / drivetrain other than the injector wires. (At least none that weren't caused by the PO wrecking reverse and clutches, and me just breaking axles and stuff...)
