I have one pair of P1000 front shocks for my P700 upgrade and thought I had a second pair. Turns out when they arrived, they are rear shocks. The measurements are very close the the front pair. 1/4” longer, the spring is pretty close, only slightly larger. What is the reason rear shocks won’t work? I’m new to sxs, and would appreciate the info. Thanks
Randy

I didn't know any of the p1000 shocks were adjustable other than the fox shocks? I've took a set off of a 3 seater and a 5 seater and never noticed that but I could have missed it.

The shock on the left in the pic is a rear shock.
I'm not so sure it is.

It does say HL4, and that is a Pioneer 1000.
Must be from the base model 3 seat.
Others have larger rear shocks, some that auto-level.

Also says A51 RR, and from what I can find is rear. The other one says A11 FR, front. I was told they came off of 2016..

Is there a clearance problem due to the larger diameter of that rear shock?

I’m not sure yet. I keep my 700 at my camp. I have just been collecting the things I needed and will do the upgrade when I get there next week. Will update..

I say try them and see, a little time is all you have to lose at this point.
