Anyone have any experience with the Yamaha WRF 450?

I'm considering picking up a bike for trail riding when the Pioneer just doesn't make sense or I go with a buddy and we are feeling a little sportier. I have good experience with both Yamaha and Honda in the dirtbike world, but I have never crossed over to the "enduro" series if you will.

Looking at a 2015 model. Looks very similar to the YZ series...plus a battery and a headlight, maybe a little different gearing?

I have a 2004 WRF450. Wicked bike! I love it. I would not quite call it enduro.
Plenty of power. I am a big guy and it will wheelie on command. I really wanted to turn it into a Supermoto, but could not do it legaly.

I rode it a lot in Windrock and Harlan , and localy.

I have an 08 WR 450 after many years of riding and racing Yz's.
Great bikes, geared down for woods or up for track riding.
Suspension is pretty good stock..If you can swing one they are great electric start 4 stroke bikes.

Maintenance is minimal and easy. Whole different bike on race gas.

Awesome that is what I wanted to hear! I have my eye on a 2015 at auction. It looks spotless so I'm sure I'm going to have to pay for it, but its not a super common bike and will still be < half of new I'm sure.
