I'm not really into the sport seen. I went to buy a demo wolverine for $8900. Took mine along to see what they thought of mine vs the 1000-5 never shopped at this dealer and they are big and sell everything. Well there first offer was 2 grand higher than the dealer I usually go 2 then I got them to throw in the tax and fees. All said and done I paid a little over 6 grand. And it includes the roof windshield and rear soft window. They wanted $925 for the extended warranty. So I held off on that.Congrats on the upgraded ride @Plumber32 You will have this one set up just in time for the new Honda Sport model announcement
the extra power and speed is what got me. When I watched you guys power thru the creek and I couldn't hurt a little. Not going to lie on that one. Also with 5 in my family now it wasn't too hard to justify.
Amazon brought me all my goodies so Saturday I'm taking it up to my buddies house to get it dressed up. He's an electrician and very good with wiring these things. He directed me with the fuse box and what to get his installs look factory. Where mine look like a plumber did it. First trail ride will be a week from now in Tomahawk wi. ( northern wisconsin) There's going to be several wildcat 700 s going one with a turbo! A couple quads . Should be a good break in run. The north woods are a cool place to go. Miles from any town, very quiet, stars are unbelievable when it's clear. I picked up a gopro walmart had a good sale where I got the lcd one for $200. So now I can record alot of rides.
I was on the fence when it first came out. Its a ridiculous amount of money, next year I would of been in a bind with the 3rd child. So it would of been get a 2nd sxs, and then a new trailer, I really like my enclosed I have now, next yr mine would of been worth less, new one would be more $ I had enough saved up to pay the difference Now I've got a few yrs to save for a different camper. Mine still has enough room for 2 adults and 3 children (8' truck camper ). Only having 1 atv opens up the possibility of a 23' toy hauler. I was impressed with the 1000s on the ride and figured it was exactly what I needed for my situation, hence the title Yolo (you only live once) witch is the unfortunate way I justify things in my head
