I have carried a spare sometimes and sometimes not. I am moving away from carring one now as it just isn't really needed and is in my way. I carry plugs, flex seal tape, and a tube. If the hole is bad enough I'll pop the beadlock off, flex seal tape the hole, and slip the tube in and go. At least that is how I plan on rolling anymore!!

I have in addition to my spare that I carry at all times:

12v air compressor
Compressed air can of fix a flat
Slime
Plugs
The slug plug
Externally installable valve stem

I have used none of it.

I do run SuperATV Intimidator tires. I think they are VERY thick and sturdy.

The above stay stored in the pioneer. In our backpack we bring a ryobi 18v battery operated compressor.
I have the exact same set up. Haven't needed to use it yet.

2 things I just thought of

I forgot I keep brake clean spray as well with lighter. I use it for more than just flats so I didn't think about it originally.

I did use my 12v compressor once on my 300ex when I knocked the tire off the bead. It went well.
