winch and lights

How many of you running a winch and lights are going to dual battery setups. I really want to add some leds and a wich but not sure I really need the dual battery set up as I do not have or on rancher and it has extra lights and a wich and does ok.

I highly recommend the full size battery upgrade. I found out that the OEM battery is good for less than a minute of winch use and I would hate to be stranded with out a buddy to jump me off.

RMP full size battery kit. It's awesome. I removed the OEM battery and use the space for storage.

If you didn't want to be stranded, you could get one of these....

This is a video I made of my gas powered jump starter. It's 12 or 24 volts. Made in the 70's.

If you read the instructions on most winches(seriously who does that?) They tell you to "rest" the winch for 15min after 30-45secs of use.
It's to let the wiring cool and the battery recuperate.

That'd take FOREVER to get out of some holes.

I don't run a dual battery haven't had any issues so far. I ran my winch a lot today without waiting, who would wait 15 mins lol that's crazy. Was winching trees we cut out of our way.

I would hang in there for a little longer, it's worth the wait. As RMP (ohanacreek) said above, they are moving and temporarily not selling.

I have had zero problems with mine and I would recommend it.
