No rain since April, hot as hell, dry lightning, steep terrain and some are because of idiots

From the nosebleed seats, looking just about straight west at Ruby Mountain from the 13,220 Argentine Pass summit. I love using Google Earth to tie all this together -

Looking at this photo, I thought I saw something toward the upper right -

Zooming in showed a small section of road that continues up to Argentine Pass, which I did right after taking the road to the left.

The Talon was parked in the blue circle when I took this photo -

And this ties it all together - Sleuthing is fun. A Google Earth screen shot, I took the photo from somewhere in the orange circle.

I did a few miles of tree tunnel riding yesterday.

I was trying to show the raindrops in the water but it didn't work. Luckily the heavy stuff didn't show up until I was loaded and getting in the van.

There were some awesome views though -
