Hi guy's, new member, first post- Picked up the 1000-5 today! Decided to go with the Honda Pioneer for many reasons but mostly, no CVT. Plan to use the machine to access mountain top RF communication sites during winter months. Looks like a mini Tucker Snow-Cat! Looking forward to your feedback and help in the future.
GO FALCONS! :)

Welcome NAZ! Nice machine, just hang around for a while and before you know it the UPS man will be eating dinner with you and become you're best friend.

@NAZ Welcome to the club, very nice ride! Would love to try out tracks in deep snow some time. Enjoy and please share pics of it in action out on the trail. Lots of good people and info to be found on here.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Trust me, the UPS (and Fed-Ex) "Dudes" have already made many visits thus far:) Over the next week or two, I plan to install other goodies including auxiliary battery/isolater/fuse block, David Clark H10-40 headsets, intercom, front & rear light bars, VHF/GPS radio gear and switch panel. I'll post pictures of the additional accessories as installed.
Have a great weekend,
Calvin (NAZ)

Very nice. Your setup is almost identical to what I'm doing. How would you rate the noise level with the fully enclosed cab?

Very Nice !
If you happen to have a tape measure handy would you mind telling me how tall it is with the tracks ? I want to do the same to mine , but also want to make sure it will still fit in my garage. Thanks

I have the Camoplast UTV 4S on my 2016 1000-5 and it measures 78" to top of tinted Makrolon (1/4") roof. My door measured 82" to bottom of trim, so I have about 4" of clearance
