P1000 1000-5 hard door tether

Has anyone found a longer door tether for the hard doors? Would like at the least another inch or so, need more room - and yes, it is in the last hole so no further length available. Thanks for any ideas.

Any good auto upholstery shop could lengthen them for you.

Or, you could cut that strap off there and just use the end fittings. Replace the strap with double sided "hook and loop" . . . that way you can adjust it however you like. If you find a setting you want and want to make that "permanent", you can put a zip-tie around the middle so the hook and loop can be removed unless you first cut the zip-tie.

Anyone that does tarps and boat covers as well you could consider ….essentially anyone with a hd sewing machine can do this.
