Want to get a internal gear reduction on my 1000-5 but haven't heard of anyone doing it or selling a kit do not want to do portals if you know of anything let me know guys

Get on Facebook. Pioneer 1000 riders page. There's a guy doing them but can't think of his name. He's gotten great reviews. Price is around 850 bucks.

I did it then did it again when he came out with a gear that wasn't loud. Great guy to buy from he will talk yah through it and answer any questions

Thanks for all the replies talked to my honda dealership and they said they have a 36% igr that they do for 800 so I'm leaning towards them thanks again

36% sounds like a lot. The 25% reduction seems to be max because it requires grinding the aluminum case. I would ask them how they achieve 36%.

I’ll cross my fingers and hope that I’m not understanding this correctly and there is a way to achieve a lower gear!
