Thanks for looking. Up for sale is my 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 Deluxe. The machine has 563 miles and 55.7 hours. About 350 of the miles were put on in Hurley Wisconsin over two trips and the rest were put on around my house and the tri county trails as I tried to meet the break in hours/miles requirement. Needless to say, the machine was well taken care of and not ridden hard. However, in full disclosure, the plastics have the typical scuffs and there is a ding in the rail under the driver footboards (pictured) I did this within the first 15 minutes of ownership on a rock pile in my yard. The part is easily replaced but I was waiting until I put skid plates on it to fix. Still haven't gotten to the skid plates as I am selling it instead.

Why am I selling? I don't use it enough to justify having that much money tied up in it. My daughter and wife rode with me but my daughter no longer likes to go and my wife won't go if my daughter doesn't. So I am going to downsize to a regular ATV.

Included with the Pioneer are the following accessories/upgrades (Not willing to part out at this point)
- 28 inch ITP Blackwater Evolution Tires mounted on the stock rims.
- Honda Full Hard Roof
- Honda two piece hard coat windshield.
- Honda soft rear panel
- Honda bed liner (Full bed liner, not bed mat)
- Viper Max 4500 lb wide spool winch/Synthetic Cable
- Warn Pro-Vantage 72 inch snow plow system.
- Dual Battery setup with isolation (all accessories run off auxiliary battery so you won't run down
starting battery.
- Custom Switch Plate (Pictured)
- (1) 22 in LED light bar in front.
- (2) 7 inch LED lights mounted on back roll cage
- A pillar brackets for cube lights. (I have the cube lights, just haven't installed them.)

I am asking $16,000 but reasonable offers will be considered.
I will have the title in hand by the end of the week. Again, thank you for looking.

I do have to say that is a VERY Good buy. I sure wish I hadn't made the decision to keep my 700 for now. If it was closer, I might have to seriously reconsider my decision. Good Luck. I take the craigslist interest didn't pan out.

Thank you for that. I always feel weird putting prices on my stuff. The craigslist guy gets back into town on the 4th. But I won't get my hopes up. Selling items on Craigslist has help me cross paths with some interesting people.

I still think putting it on here was a very good choice. Everyone on here knows what they cost and what they are worth. The should all realize that it is worth it. The bad thing is 99% of us already have one but there is the 1% looking. Heck Montecresto has all 3 of them.

I agree that putting it on here was a good idea and thanks again to those that recommended that. I would much rather sell it to someone who knows about these things rather than the guy who offered to trade me a mid 90's ford escort and some cash. .

I wish you were closer to where I live. I would be seriously interested. I just sold my 700-4 which was loaded with very similar accessories. The only reason I sold it was because the local Honda Dealer had Honda Bucks and was going to sell me a new 1000-5 deluxe for $14,900. By the time I sold mine and went to purchase a new one, the Honda Bucks were gone. So now I am trying to figure out what I am going to do. I was going to wait until the 2017 models were available. However, I am interested in your SxS but there is no practical way for me to see it.

I wish there was a way too. But you are right, there is no practical way to do it. I could send pictures and videos of whatever you wanted but that still doesn't get you in the drivers seat and when your spending that much money on a machine, you want to "feel" it first. At least, that how I am.

If my kids weren't so little, this would be a prime opportunity for a road trip. .

It's very bittersweet. I love this thing and will be sad to see it go. Had it set up just the way I liked it etc... but, I'm downsizing to a Honda Rubicon so I will still have plenty of fun.
The extra cash will be going into my basement finishing project. It will be a long process but I will finally have my very own place within the house. (Seeing as my wife and children have taken over all other square footage).
And even though I won't have a SxS, I'm sticking around here. I enjoy this forum way too much. It's the friendliest, funniest, and closely tied forum that Ive ever been a part of.

The Pioneer has sold. While I am sad to see it go, the smiles on the faces of the family that bought it made me feel much better. Hopefully they have years of trouble free Honda fun.

Thank you all for the assistance and camaraderie on everything SxS and beyond. I may name my new Honda Rubicon "pioneer" just to remain relevant on this forum. .

How do you like the DCT on the Rubicon? I have 2004 Rubicon and think about getting a new one but it runs so good and I absoulutly dig the old Hondamatic hydro tranny it has in it now. The thing is like a tractor. I use it to plow snow in my drive and the four neighbors drives.

I actually bought the foot shift version. I am a simple beast . I test rode the DCT but after riding the foot shift, it was a no brained for me. But also understand that I also enjoy my manual trans Nissan Frontier. I don't mind the autos, I just prefer the connection of a manual. And I don't pick the rubicon up until next Saturday so I can't give a good long term review yet.
