I have a set of four OEM 12" wheels and tires taken off a 2021 P1000-3 with 200 - 300 miles on them. They're black steel base model wheels, not aluminum Deluxe.

Located in southern WV. Stored out of the weather.

Make me an offer.

So with the tires and rims it looks great, how do you feel about the rideability, does the height of the tires Make the unit feel more tippy?

No stability issues at all. I havent used it for any rock climbing or anything crazy, but for every day riding and use at the farm and hunting properties there's been zero issues.

I have the 2" puck spacers that I havent put on because it wont go in my garage, but I dont feel like there would be any issues even then. Gotta build a damned pole barn sooner or later.

Remember that the 700 doesnt have low range, which was a deciding factor for us in getting the 1000. If you are running around on flat ground it isn’t a factor, other than pulling power and acceleration are hurt by the larger diameter. If you do any technical riding on steep ground, you may find yourself being too high geared to get through. Never ran a 700 so it may not be a factor, but I find myself using low range a lot with the 1000, especially plowing and on Jeep trails.

Also keep in mind that the 1000 wheels are different bolt pattern than the 700 so getting takeoffs from a 1000 won’t work.

Fairly new to the club and first time poster. I'm looking to get taller tires, maybe 27" to fit on the stock 8" and 10" wheels on my '17 700-4D. I'm not finding any. Anyone know if this can be done or does my cheap a$$ have to poney up and buy wheels too?
I'm fairly new as well but yes it can be done. I put Konati Mongrel 27x9x12s all the way around on my 700-4. I wanted the same size all the way around to allow for the ability to rotate the tires when needed.

Hey Red Rider - can you post a pic of your ride from the rear? I'd like to see the 9" wide tires from the back. I'm considering your same tire set up, but undecided on 9" or 11" on the rears...

You will have to use front wheels all the way around to rotate them. Rears are wider and have a deeper offset than the fronts and may not have enough clearance on the inside. When you go to 28” or larger most tire brands only offer 10” wide and use 7-8” wide rims.

I am cheap too. Get 27" takes off from a p1000 for $100 and a 30$ harbor freight tire tool and put them on your p700 wheels. I can't believe what they want for Kenda tires and a 14" wheel.
Check my other posts for a pic.
I thought the P1000 wheels have a different bolt pattern than the P700?

They are different. I think he's just talking about tires not wheels.

I thought the wheels were interchangeable also but that was based on something I read.

Sure, no problem. Here are a couple of shots. One from directly behind and one slightly up the side to show front and rear. I know the 11s will fit on the rear but I didn't want to go that wide on the front and I wanted same size all the way around so I went with the 9s. Also, heads up, wider tires fling up more debris on your passengers, so riders beware!:)

You really get more top end speed? Rev limiter doesn’t give you issues?
Rev limiter is a rev limiter. But you also have a speed limiter. That's at 43mph. You'll hit 43 and the limiter kicks in. But on 27's and GPS speed, you'll be doing about 45mph.
