The 1000-5 Deluxe jumped $500 in MSRP from $17,199 (2016) to $17,699 (2018). Guess the clutch, heat and water ingestion fixes weren't cheap.

Quick look. I see no changes as expected...
But, I do expect some "unlisted" changes to be made. Hard to tell until we get a hold of one.

Yeah, the devil is in the part fiche and part number changes rarher than spec and featurs sheet. Will be worse than ciphering patents.

Must only be in certain parts of the country. None of the 18s are showing up for me. What's the price increase for a P1K3 Limited?

Try this link, 2018 Pioneer - Honda Powersports

No actual machines are at dealer's yet, just info on official Honda powersports web page. Across the line increases of $300 from 2017 to 2018 appear to be consistent on each P1K variation.

Thanks. As you can see, only 16s and 17s listed, using your link. Don't know why.

I was at the Honda shop today and they had an atv in that yellow color. Neat color.

Oh...and "refined engineering". That would be funny if it weren't such an expensive flop. A 1983 Yugo is more refined than my P1K-3

What's wrong with yours that the rest of us aren't worried about?

I must have special clutches. I know all about the seat heat though.

Seat heat (corrected), side mirrors that show only the rear panel (corrected), rear view mirror that showed only the ROPS and rear panel (corrected), baby bottle cup holders (corrected), bed that gets caught on rear panel when lifting or closing (corrected), 7 hour at most fuel range (have a plan), insane radiator heat on and through the dash (have a plan), stripped/missing screws and fasteners (I think I replaced all of them), no dump bed, only a tilt bed for servicing (have a plan), windshield that spits water like a sprinkler (ain't got nothin'), rear differential that refuses to unlock even though dash indicator lies to me and tells me it's unlocked (just noticed that today), I could go on but I gotta get back to work on it to make it at least useable.

Well just in hopes for the future, I hope the avg. goes up. The 700 is a little high geared but their is only 3. I wish this H/L 6 was low enough for tougher work on the bottom and still get to the 55 to 65. Sometimes to many beers make me lose worry bout clutches, but for the most part it's on my mind. Riding tomorrow, worries should be drowned out by 2:00

Yeah.. I think the clutch "issue" may be a lot of operator error. Someone else posted "you must be the type of guy who can break an anvil with a rubber mallet". Made me laugh! I know some guys like that!!!

How long did it take for side mirrors?
