Being fair.....…... If someone was looking for one in a hurry, you'd save them a cpl bucks. Availability is a little better then a year ago and prices are starting to level off a bit. If a guy don't mind paying almost dealer price for a barely used unit "today" then you'll have no problem selling it.

good luck

I believe that one was a 16’ as is mine that once WAS a Base and I Pd $14k then.
The one the OP, looking at the year was bought in the hight of the Chinese murder virus when $hit was high as Hunter Biden.

I think Russ' P1K is a 18 or 19.

I paid 15,700 OTD for mine in '19 and that's after 1K for taxes. If I could've wrote it off as Ag exempt would've been closer to 14K.

Ridiculously high now a days

I’m thinking it’s going to be a “Buyer’s Market” by spring.

So now is the time to move your vehicles at a reasonable price. Even if it includes a slight loss on the accessories.

If that’s the case, I have about 27k in mine and I’ll take 22k for it. That’s a 5k loss.

Happily paid $24K for our 2021 P1000-5 a couple of month’s ago with winch, glass, spare tire carrier, top rack etc.. I don’t see the market going away this Spring, but it may by mid summer. We didn’t want to wait that long.

Dealership 5 minutes from house is selling at 1,500 under MSRP and had two sitting on the floor.

Sales tax is irrelevant, @Phillips5

You can't base your asking price on what you paid OTD because your buyer is going to have to pay sales tax on whatever they pay YOU for it when they register it.

That's asking a buyer to essentially pay sales tax TWICE.

I have a 2021 P1K5 Deluxe in Phantom Camo with like 600-700 so miles on it (I think). I paid $19,099, not including tax. I did NOT pay the ~$900 (at that time, now it's more like $1,100-1,300) for destination/transportation - my dealer covered that. So OTD, I was at $20,255.94 all in. For a Deluxe Phantom Camo, not a base model.

The 2023 MSRP on it is $20,299 plus around $1100 in freight and destination. That makes it ~$21,399 without sales tax. With sales tax (using MI 6% rate), you're looking at ~$22,700 OTD, bone stock.

If I had not added a single accessory to it, a reasonable asking price today (private sale) might be $18000 or so, as the buyer still has to his/her sales tax when they title it (~$1,080 @ MI 6% rate).

And no matter how "new" someone might think it is, it's not new. It's used.

However, I likely have one of THE most heavily modded newer P1K5's on these forums. I have well over $12K in add-ons and mods (fully documented in my build thread, all receipts available, all already installed/turn-key, and none of which are more than 20 months old. A large percentage of this stuff was added only in the last 6-9 months, and the miles on them can be measured in hundreds of miles, not thousands.

That's $32K+ invested in my 2021 P1K5 Deluxe, but my reasonable asking price if for sale would likely need to be around $27K to $28K because (a) it's not new and (b) the buyer still has to pay sales tax on top of the asking price ($1,620 to $1,680 @ MI 6%).

If they bought new today, they would pay the ~$22,700 OTD plus easily another $13K (likely more due to price increases in the past ~2 years) for all the mods, not including install (or their own labor time). That's almost $36K today. But I ain't getting $36K for it today.

Moral of the long story: Be reasonable with your asking price. Just because you have $1 invested doesn't mean you're getting the full $1 back out no matter what you think demand/supply is doing, and don't think sentimental value adds one nickel to the value.

Good luck with the sale.

P.S. - Anybody want to buy a heavily modded but pristine 2021 P1K5 Deluxe in Phantom Camo for a great price? :D
