Grinch original bumper

Start. I got a take off bumper from craigslist. A badlands long drum APEX 5500 winch at the Harbor freight Christmas sale. Kfi mounting plate. Bolt on shacke mounts.

The shackle mounts inside plate needed to be trimmed down about 3/16 on each side.

The backing plate will fit perfect.

One of the bolts needed to be cut down. Put the bolt through both plates next to the nut and cut about 1/4 above nut.

The KFI mount would not work with the Badlands long drum apex 5500. The holes were 1/8 inch off. I had to cut the top of the KFI bracket down by 3/16 and wheeled out the bottom of the two upper bolt holes of the KFI bracket. I then opened / widened the KFI bracket using a car jack just enough so the winch would fit in and holes would line up. I test fit the winch in the bracket and then test fit bracket to the machine before installing.

I think it all turned out solid.

I had to cut the top of the KFI backet down by 3/16 and wheeled out the bottom of the two upper bolt holes of the KFI bracket. I like it! Good job.
Was the neon style green on purpose or was the color match hard to get?
