Has anybody driven the new 2022? Heard the DCT is much smoother and quieter? Also any updates to the intake system or cabin heat provisions?thx
No, Wait for the 23.Ok thank you. Just wondering if it’s worth it to swap out my 2021? Doesn’t seem like it is after all the mods I have done to mine.
Any idea when the 23’s will be announced? Blows my mind that they waited this long to start delivering 22’ models, most other manufacturers, including Honda have been announcing 23’ model lineups on various vehicles already. No, Wait for the 23.
Or 27No, Wait for the 23.
Probably won't be anyone around in 23. I'd enjoy one now. They are an amazing trail machine!Any idea when the 23’s will be announced? nopeYea I was wondering if I should upgrade to a 22. What changes are coming in in 23?
Talon no experience,How much better is the transmission shifting? I’ve never really heard in real world
The finish has little to do with noise, subtle changes in gear geometry will.... pressure angle changes, tip relief, crowning, etc. Were the gear flanks ground on any other variants?Talon no experience,
The 2022 Pioneer share the same gear change, everyone that posted on here posted about them said said they where smoother and quieter stands to reason they would work the same in a Talon.
I bought every gear in the transmission except fifth and compared 2020 against 2022, 2022 has different parts number yet they look identical my speculation is that they have a different machine finish that makes them run quieter hence the reason for a different number on the identical gear.
Also lowering the sub trans gearing will space the gears a little closer in the transmission contributing to the smoother shifts.
