I have a new stock 1000-5 deluxe. I was under it today looking at the possibility of adding a-arm skid plates. and running a wires for backup lights. The tires look to close to the a-arms. Aftermarket or even another brand tire may rub. You couldn't put tire chains on these tires. Do others stock a-arms tires look this tight?

That is tight.
Are you sure you have the front wheels on the front?
And not the rear wheels on the front.

I have not made a change. I have 45 miles on this. the 9" tires are on the front. Unless the dealership put the wrong tires on the rims.

I think the fronts should be around 6" wide and the rears almost 8.

Most if not all Pioneers get delivered with the front tires toed out. If you can take a look at that and correct them to be toed in. That may be why the tires get so close to the lower rear of the a arm

This is at full turn. Yes aftermarket arms are really tight like this as well.

If you need more clearance run 1" spacer.

This pic was on a lift with arms fully extended/lowered and at full lock?

My ‘22 has about a 3/4” of clearance at full drop and full turn/lock.

I would agree it's probably toe out causing the tire to pivot too far at full lock or possibly the steering rack isn't centered. That's the same spot my tires run with offset arms and no steering stops.
