I have three that I bought specifically to loan out. I programmed them for GMRS channels plus NOAA only. @JayPo and @Hometeam used them last weekend.

I use Retevis rt29, I have channel 4 programmed for the $20 radios at walmart. But we normally have one in each sxs. I have four and can bring them if needed, but if ya break it ya buy it.

I would like to look at the baofang.

If you program all the GMRS channels, you'll cover every FRS channel, too (for the bubble pack FRS radio users).

Maybe you can explain it to me at the TO. But I believe the 29 is 14 channels of gmrs, I couldn't talk to the bubble radios until I programmed ch 4. (Just happen to be the ch they were using)

I'll bring my LT and cable... we'll look at it. (if thats OK)
