Don’t forget all the associated costs of sealing off the cab.

And the new graphics.
Very true. Thats if they do that? Lol
I dont have much confidence in them for that. They cant even fix the door bushings since 16’😂

Looks like the 2024 1000 was released in October last year. Anyone have news on when they'll release the 2025 model?

Bigger question: anyone know of any changes to the 2025 1000-5 lineup? I'm about to purchase one and now I'm wondering if I should wait for the 2025 model...
I was in the same boat and came across a 1k5 Forest edition at my dealership about a month ago. I too was planning on waiting but he gave me a decent deal on the Forest edition and I have no crazy plans for it but getting around the neighborhood and snowplowing as needed. So I figured it didn’t matter much what the new model had. The 2024 model would get me around and snowplow. I guess it really depends on what your plans are for the machine and how you plan on using it. I did really want the trail model but figured if I waited until the October/November release my dealer said he probably wouldn’t have one until December/January. Good luck in your search.

Nice buggy. I like the cammo
Thanks. I wasn’t a fan at first of the camo at the dealership but it’s got the benefit that it doesn’t show scratches. He had a forest and a red deluxe model in stock. When we priced it out the dealer gave me a number on the forest that was $800 more than the deluxe so I took a chance on the I4WD. I liked that it came from the factory with a warn 4500 winch and I didn’t have to play around installing one when I got home. It would have cost me almost that amount to install it myself. I definitely needed a winch because I need to plow with it.

That would have been one expensive winch to put on yourself for $800 😂 That said, its nice to not have to fool with itf fo sho!

Yeah I could have put any budget winch on it but to put the warm vrx 4500 on it with mount and everything it would have cost me around $600 plus so for an extra $200 it was factory installed, factory wired and factory warranty plus I didn’t have to do it.

Yeah that warn winch is nice but a bit overkill IMO i put a 3500 Superwinch on mine, has been on sine 16’ and winched more than most people would and still strong as an ox. As long as your happy is al that matters.
Not sure before you bought if u looked at the club store for wenches and the winch bracket? Prob could have saved almost half that. There is some really good stuff in there before u buy accessories in the future to save you some $$ and help support the forum

I have had 2 of these Defender HD10 Limited's now for a year (got them in October of 23) I cannot tell you how much of a turd these things are. They are gutless, don't seal well (so you still deal with the massive amount of dust), shift terrible, and squeak like a MF'er. The AC does not work all that great, sometimes it's just better to flip the factory windshield up and roll the windows down. The heater was an amazing thing to have this past December when I was working on my cattle equipment in -24F with 50+mph winds. The one with the tracks hasn't run right since it was delivered. I sent it back to the dealership in July and they still have it and cannot figure out why it will not run. The cab seemed nice at first but the machines are complete garbage. FYI, the tracked one was right at $40,000......... I will be replacing them both with the Honda HVAC pioneers when released.

Like I say about all other manufacturers machines, they look nice but ask the guys who've owned them for awhile.

Their all piles of s***.
