2025 Takeover Group Rides

I saved @TripleB ‘s Friday Hurricane Ride from MOM last year…I’d gladly recreate that trip (minus the hurricane) if folks wanted to go.

And to clarify…it was a Tackett run to Pigeons Roost, the cabin, Slate Rock, the overlook, Sand Cave, and other attractions. Was quite fun.

I quite enjoyed the hurricane. The cleanest my machine has ever come back from Tennessee.

I know I'm doing 2 different tackett creek rides. 1 will be basically the loop I did at the MOM ride. The only difference will be, instead of backtracking from pigeons Roost to look for my phone. We will come down the Yellow Brick road, back to Slate rock, cabin, McLean Overlook, and sand cave. The other will be over to primroy arch, triple arch cave, maybe a Overlook towards Jellico, back over to Tackett Town, down to some unnamed rock feature and back out by Slate Rock. I'm going to Parolee's to eat, either Monday or Tuesday. It's at the Prison. FYI the Prision and the Wardens table is only gonna be open Monday and closed Tuesday and Wednesday. They open back up Thursday and will be open 7 days a week until the Fall/winter. Parolee's is open 7 days a week now.

I will probably do a titty waterfall ride one day also. @EMAW @KyGal83 @futzin @CousinEddie LOL. it's just gonna be a straight shot there and a cruise back through the new river unit. I will decide which day later this week.

I know Saturday I will just bomb around the Sundquist unit. Top of the world etc. I wanna be close to RRB in case we have any major issues so we can get back for the food and music.

That only leaves one more day. I may do a harder tackett creek ride. I wanna do wolf pen but I have never been up it. I know it has several sketchy spots. But im not sure on that yet.

Going down it in the Pioneer wasn't very pleasant. I've been up it before in the Pioneer and Talon a few times a couple years ago, but it was way worse than I remembered it being that last time. Only time I have ever done an actual roll over in any machine... I'm in!

Is this the one they rerouted out of the creek? If so, @Hondasxs @Vondy and I went up it a couple years back on a scouting trip. It was a bit sketch then. A couple winches were broke that trip.

That's just the lower section of that trail. I've done that part. The upper section I've only been up to the big ledge that has all the youtube videos. My buddy didn't want to try it so we turned around.
