Looking at 25x8x12/25x10x12 or 26x9x12 at all 4 corners in bighorn ogs but cant decide witch size the places I ride most are sandy river bottoms or on trails in the Nebraska sand hills so in the summer time the sand is very loose and deep I have 25 inch bighorn ogs on my 2006 Foreman 500 and I do notice in the loose sand power lose the tires seem to dig in the sand but anywhere else these tires work great does anyone have any experience with 26 in bighorn ogs on a pioneer 500 in loose sand ?

I've got 26" Bighorn Original. 9" fronts and 12" rears. I am very happy with them. I debated over them and the 2.0s but wanted the extra tread depth and sidewall strength of the originals.

It feels very stable to me , I am also running 1.00" spacers in the rear and I removed the anti sway bar

The P5 is tippy stock, if you go up and you don't go out that will worsen.

I agree with Monte. I went with 26x9x12 originals on all four corners and different wheels for a wider stance.
The 11" or 12" wide rears would reduce the tendency to dig in loose sand. When my tires wear out, I'll go wider in the rear.

So how wide does the stance get with the 26"er? Does it really net ~51" width on stock rims? (1/2" on each side)

Keep us informed on how you like them! I'm considering a similar thing... 25s on the stock rims for 50" trails and then put some 26s on some aftermarket rims for normal use at the lease and atv parks.

I have sti hd3 wheels on my p5. They still look good after 4,000 miles.

Just installed new 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear bighorn ogs on sti hd6 wheels looks good but I think on aftermarket rims the 26inch Bighorns would look better and the 8 inch fronts on the sti 12x7 rims do leave the rim lips exposed to where rocks may scuff the rim lips I also measured a point on the front and rear of the frame with the stock tires about 35 miles on them and 10psi in each tire and the new 25 inch bighorns with 8psi per tire I gained exactly 1 inch of frame height front and rear the front is now 52 inches wide and the rear is 52 1/2 wide I do think on stock rims 25 inch bighorns would be perfect and should still keep the machine 50 inches wide high school track just started so it might be awhile before I ride again but I am going to the Black Hills in late June will keep you posted on how I like them love them on my Foreman
