Any one running 27 or 26 x9 bighorns all the way around have 25 inch original bighorns now going to put them on a atv and order new 26 or 27 original bighorns worried that 27s will rob to much power in loose sand and may rub frame but think 27 will work fine on hard pack any thoughts

I'm running 26×9 BH 2.0 all the way around with my gear mod that raises the final drive gearing with no problem, with stock gearing you'll have no problem with 27's

I run all 26x9 I have about 3,000 miles on them, they still look new. It just started rubbing slightly at full lock when I turn right lately I’ve have aftermarket 5+2 wheels. I’ve been adding more air like 20 psi because the sidewalls get a little weaker overtime.

Have ran about every 2.0 combination possible and have never had a problem pulling them. Running 28x10 2.0's on all four now. Blew through the sugar sand without so much as a wheel hop last time out. Takes a little longer to reach top speed is the only thing I've noticed.

What Trig says goes on this thread. 26x9x12 front and 11's on rear with 5+2 offset appears to be the B H 2.0 winner for the P5.

If you carry weight, like two passengers and lots of gear more often then not.... 26” tires. If like me mostly single rider with only chainsaw, spare gas and recovery gear, then 27” tires. When you buy tires ensure they are true to dimension size many are undersized. Lastly radials are the way to go for sure. I run Kenda Bear Claws HTRs in 27x11x12 on 5-2 rims on all corners. 6-8 psi front/rear air pressure. They don’t touch frame and just snick fender at near full lock on compressed suspension, not a big deal to me. Awesome tires...
Cheers,
j
