I'm about to upgrade the stock tires on my 2014 Honda Pioneer 700-4 and am looking at the Terrabites. I've read through a lot of info and am still torn, so I'm just looking for a "definitive" answer, although I know there isn't one. What are the pros and cons to running the 27-9x12s in the front and the 27-11x12s in the back versus 27-9x12s all the way around? Thanks in advance for any input.

Where and how do you ride?

The wider rear tires are a little heavier, but they float better in sand and snow. The narrower rear tires will be lighter and easier to turn in the mud, sand and snow.

I have 9.5 wide tires all they way around on my talon and have been pretty impressed. I ride (fairly agressive) in sand and on fireroads with some mud thrown in. I can tell that they don't float as good in soft sand, (especially going uphill) but they seem to cut through mud easier as long as there is a bottom to it.
