Installed 30"x10"×14 STI XComp tires and 14" STI HD9 beadlock in black. They look great only a little loss in initial launch out of the hole. The ride is great running them at 13 psi.

How are you liking those STI X-Comp? I just ordered some myself (32x10x15) along with the STI HD9 6+1 for the front, and 4+3 for the rear. I can't wait to see how it rides and handles.. When I purchased my TalonX it came with STI HD10 with STI R4 33x9x20.. I'm sure they'll do great in the wet season when the sand is hard packed.. but we are approaching dry season here in Florida, and they don't seem to do very well in the sugar sand..

I will be offroad this weekend on them they seem to be better ride already you will notice the a heavier feel to the steering because of the taller heavier tire wants to be straight up so you feel that a little. Will post my results this weekend after the rides.

I believe that straighten up with steering is a flat faced tire rather than a round tire. I played with that issue on my YXZ. Both have their own god points

I have 28" same tire and Sti beadlock 5 + 2 offset on my Pioneer 1000 -5 and they are great. I have miles at Hatfield & McCoy and Brimstone in Tennessee on those love them good on rock, dirt, mud and good ride made the Pioneer super stable.

I never felt the issue with my Pioneer 1000-5 since I think the power steering is stronger for less feedback. And the Talon is lighter for more feedback

only issue with 14" is clearance on inside. be sure to try them before mounting tires. if you go back and read, they describe the close issues. Also have to watch for rocks getting caught and cutting wheel too since closer. i marked one wheel 1st time out

So the 14" rim is no problem. I have a brand new set I was putting on my CanAm but would rather use on Talon
Read this thread. It talks about clearance, what to look for and how to create some clearance if needed (without adding spacers)...

We rode about 60 miles over the weekend on open forest roads, steep rough washed out rocky trails , mud, some rubble rock (rounded larger creek rock) andpavement at 50 plus miles per hour. The tires road great if I am on chunky rocks I would lower psi to 10 or 11. They did great all around at 13 psi super stable tire and can climb over any kind if terrain and the 30" did not effect crawling abilities.
