It took about 5 tries, but I finally got it right. No two edges on that darn warning label are parallel or perpendicular. lol I attached it with stainless 4mm button head screws and lock nuts. Now, I just need to cut a hole in my dash and start wiring.

Nice work, that looks awesome! Be sure and post updated pictures when you get the switches installed!

Heck, an oval with just the logo would likely sell by itself, since you have it programmed already. About how much would something like that cost?

Hmmmm I could possibly make them to sell. I'd probably leave the Honda logo off though just to eliminate any static from the trademark lawyers. lol

Here's the harness I made to supply my switch panel. 10ga + and - from battery to a fuse panel mounted behind the dash. I went ahead and added two 16ga pairs running back to the rear from the fuse panel. One is for my bluetooth speakers mounted in my cargo box and the second will with be for LED whips or rear LED work lights. The harness follows the factory wiring to the front and looks completely factory. I crimped and soldered on waterproof GM weather-pak connectors to interface with my accessories. The main fuse holder is also a sealed crimp-on weather-pak style unit. I also soldered it post-crimping to eliminate any possibility of something coming loose. All ring and spade terminals are soldered and shrink wrapped on my install too. No weak crimps to work loose or corrode.

Would you be open to sharing the .STL or Gcode?

Long term, the PLA filament I used to print didn't hold up. It warped in the hot sun. I'm thinking ABS would be the right material to use. I ended up making an aluminum switch panel. I'll try again when I get some ABS. :D

If I get a minute, I'll post the STL on thingiverse and post a link for others that want to give it a try.

Another request here for the stl file.

Nice work! What material did you print it with?

I feel your pain. Seems like nothing is square with anything else on these machines! That's why for my business projects I invested in my 3D scanner. First project with it is my front seat Milwaukee packout mount and it's very acurate. Frustrating to learn how to use but I got it now. We use a Faro at work for industrial projects so I had a little knowledge of how this works already. For a totally new to scanning person, this would be mega frustrating!!

Pencil and paper tracing works great on flat surfaces like that. Bring into cad as a tracing pattern and draw on top of it.

Part looks great!
