Curious, what tire/wheel combination did you go with? I'm wanting to do the same for the same reason. I have a 1000-5 Deluxe.

Quad Boss QBT 486 for no other reason that they were a few dollars less on amazon and I used some xmas gift cards...
I searched and researched and i determined that terrabite, quadboss,carnivores,tensors were essentially the same so i bought the ones that were the least $ I have them mounted on stock rims no miles as of yet 28x10xr14

Did you put 1" spacers on the rear? I see where a lot of guys do that. Your list looks like mine
No spacers front to back track is close enough for me. Wish the rear rims were a bit narrower but it is what it is... If i was buying rimas and tires i would have gotten 15" with the Federal tires 235x15r15 happy with the 14" for now
Actual measurement on the vehicle with 25lbs air is 27 7/16 tall
will lower air pressure some when riding just trying to stretch em a little
