Does anyone know how easy the 5P bed extender is to remove when not in use?

I'll be able to tell you soon. I've got one sitting in my garage.

I also had one on my P700 and it could be removed in 15 seconds. This one looks to be the same.

That's funny! I've got to get one since my buddies ride with Yeti coolers.

Thanks for the info, I didn't want it if it would be too much hastle to remove when it isn't needed.

I will also add that it is very sturdy. You will be surprised at how heavy and well built it is.

I Really want to know if my 50 will fit and open the lid. I saw a pic of a 45, but a 50 is just a little taller, and with the seat rake, that could pose a problem.

I second that. I was suprised at how heavy it was. Very well built and it lifts right out if you dont want it in there or it folds over into the back of the bed

I am going to try and build one like some others have done here just so I can custom size it for more cargo/bigger YETI. I already have Farmers lay flat bed cables as that will be my first mod.
A big thank you to Farmer by the way for such quality looking cables.

We get them from a guy here called Farmer. He is on EBAY. Just look up Pionner 1000 bed cables.

I really like the Honda Bed Extender but being designed with clipped corners does not utilize all tailgate space.

I purchased with the confidence that if they said 700/1000 they should fit. I will not find out until spring and will offer them to someone in the 700 group if they do not fit.

Thanks for the response. I will probably go ahead and purchase myself.
