P700 700-4 Rear door storage

Using the idea that I saw in the forum from another member, I cut the doors out on my new 700-4. I cut it out a little differently and mounted the push button latches inside the seal area, so I could get a good seal around the top and sides. Later, I may put some RTV on both hinge sides and let it cure. Then when I shut the doors the hinges will compress against each other and the RTV and seal the bottoms good also.

I got the plastic and hinge on Amazon and the push button snaps on e-bay.

This is what we used. Makes good bends and stays secure. Be sure to get the length needed, we got 15' cuz we did 4 doors.

I actually have 10 feet of this since I bought some for my windshield when I lost my passenger side factory honda stripping haha. So awesome thanks.

Are the seals you have on it just random rubber trim

I went to Lowes and picked out what I thought would work the best, mine had 3m tape on the back side.

I had some 3/16 Aluminum diamond plate sitting around so I made a couple panels with that i stead of plastic sheets. Hopefully it won't be uncomfortable for the rear passengers. It sure looks nice though.
