So, let me start by saying that I have been searching the forums for hours, trying to find the answer. So, I apologize in advance if the answer is in here, and i've just overlooked it. Like most, i'm just looking for easy access to "key-on" power for winch + other accessories.
I can't, for whatever reason, find where this sub-harness plugs into. I've seen posts about unplugging a green plug near the framing, near the center...it's not there. I've seen posts about it being on a harness behind the fuse panel...I don't see it. I've "traced" the wire from the aux outlet ("cigarette lighter") in the dash. It leads to a massive bundle of wires near top, zip tied to the frame. There's no accessible plug along there that I can see.
The only plug I see is red, on the right side of the open hood. But, from other posts, that appears to be a diagnostic port.
So, any pictures / diagrams / etc... pointing to the plug-in point would be GREATLY appreciated. And, I won't care if the answer is super simple and makes me look like an idiot, because this is driving me crazy. Thank you in advance.
