This is probably a question few can answer, but...

With the turbo kit about to be available any day... I know it is for sure compatible with the factory exhaust, so assume slip-on’s will work without issue, but what about the full exhaust’s such as HMF and others that reroute the exhaust all together? Can only think it could it could introduce fitment issues if they do not take the same route as the stock setup?

Been thinking about getting an exhaust. But also the turbo kit once it becomes available. But would rather not buy and install items like the exhaust twice if it can be avoided.

Really haven’t heard much about the turbo kit availability for a while anywhere online considering it was supposed to be available in the fall and we are pushing into winter. Any day now?

Slip-on will work but unless you are ambitious and REALLY good with your TIG welder, a full exhaust (as they are currently being built) would be impossible to use. You would have to butcher one up, join the pipes at the turbo, reroute both pipes from there and then fabricate from there to the muffler(s).

So, currently your choices until HMF and others get their hands on a Talon with the officially released version of the turbo is to use a slip-on (which at this point limits you to a side outlet) or if you want dual rear exits, wait until the aftermarket builds something with dual rear exit.
