I would think so. Honda is all about safety. The 1000 should run like a beast with all restrictions removed and remapped and tuned

I wonder if this guy has the capabilities to change the power at certain points to help protect the clutches. But open it up more when they are safer at a higher rpm.

Don is very good at what he does. I will give him a call & tell him what we want. We need a person close by him to take him pioneer!! Then we will be in business.

Timing is gonna open up some serious power gains, especially higher rpms.

I think it's very cool and I know these guys can work some software magic... However, I can already see the posts from people who added power and changed the way the engine and related systems operate saying "my Pioneer broke, Honda sucks" - just sayin'.

Believe me, I have nothing against this type of modification and could possibly be interested myself, just remember it would probably void the warrantee and more power is just that; adding it is when the "weak links" show-up. I'll be watching and hope someone close to the magician is willing to be a Ginny Pig!

I, for one would need a price range before I could fully buy into this. No matter how bad I want it, $2000 would be a no go. $200 would be a hell yes.

You pay the shipping to Don he flashes your ECU and mails it back over night. Total cost $375.00.

As much as I love modifying stuff I gotta side with @Manwell on this one and sit it out.

Me too. Until a tune is well proven I'll leave mine alone. For the way I use mine more power down low would more beneficial than up top.

Same here. I'd be more inclined to do the internal gear reduction than a performance mod.

I called Don. He was on another phone. I talked to one of his workers. Told him about having to put back in manual mode everyone you move the shift lever. Underpowered when under a hard load (want pull) want jump up and spin the tires etc. Not only am I looking for high end power I want lots more low end power. I'm not looking for more speed. Just lots more pulling power under a hard load. Don will call me back. Will let y'all know what he says.
