That's a good bit of work to do before the TO. What's funny is there'll probably be a list just as big afterwards. I like to think there's nothing I need beforehand but you never know. If there's a weak link anywhere in your machine or gear, you'll know it after that weekend.
Like Fly Guy said, just have fun and be safe. It'll be a ride you'll never forget and you'll get to meet all the yahoos that help you spend your money.

Ugh, my list is pretty long at this point. I have the following that need to be done to my P520:

Purchased, sitting in the garage and waiting to be installed:
  • 2" receiver hitch
  • SATV skid plate
  • SATV power steering
  • Torque locker
  • SATV arched a-arms
  • Elka Stage 1 shocks
  • Club store turn signal kit with 4-pin trailer plug
Still on my radar to work on:
  • Dual battery set up
  • Chop the top roughly 3"
  • Design and build a rack system in cab for ipads/phones to slide from driver to passenger sides for NAV
  • Get radios
  • Design and build some bed accessories for the top of the bed rails
  • Make a custom back panel
  • Make a custom mesh top that is similar to a Jeep bikini top
  • Wrap the current body platic
  • Design and build custom lower doors/ full doors
  • Seat covers
  • Design something for the space under the drivers seat for either fuel, batteries or storage

Stretch projects:
  • Build a small overland trailer from aluminum and carbon fiber
  • Buy some Mattracks
  • Buy a set of wheels and tires for 50" trails

I may have to go back into retirement so I have the time to work on all of this...

To-Do List:

1. Make a To-Do list
2. Procrastinate
3. Forget to make a To-Do List. Wing it.
4. Realize I only have 2 days off work before I leave for TO
5. Waste one of those days drinking and pretending to do other things
6. Scramble on the final remaining day to button up anything that looks like it needs addressed.
7. Spray off machine with a hose.
8. Realize machine is still dirty once it dries.
9. Fvck it.
10. Spend all 4 hours of my drive to TO thinking of all the things I forgot to do.

Helpful hint, I have added a 2x4 to help mount my box in the tray. If you look in tray there are molded groves that a 2x4 fits perfectly. It stops box from sliding backwards. I then screwed in 2x4 from outside the tray. Enjoy!

A good hardware list, and also think about trail supplies.
Suggest prepare for muddy and dusty conditions. Either remove full windshield or bring a jug of water for periodic cleaning. Got a 12 v water sprayer for wash downs /clean muddy radiator after my TO overheat experience, (carry those in my trashcan mod under the driver’s seat).
Tire plugs and a 12v air pump - usually someone in a group may have them.
Consider a shoulder seat belt pad for those long rides.
A few basic first aid kit items and wet wipes

Starting to think that all those showing up to the TO that have less than a half-day's drive should be the ones handing out the adult beverages to those that are multi-day trips... ;)

I'm one of those folks; I'll be arriving with KYgal83. We (OK, I...) actually considered commuting to save $, but what fun would that have been!

I've been known to be pretty generous with the suds but I'm thinking this is not my moment!
You bring em, I'll hand em out! 😆
On the other hand, perhaps some complimentary KY Bourbon Barrel Ale would be in order for the weary long travelers...

Much respect to those who travel far for it.
