Hello, I'm graybear
I bought my second Honda Pioneer. I had traded my original Pioneer 700 back in 2015 as it did not fit my needs and was disappointed in the performance. I bought a 1000-5 deluxe a couple of weeks ago. First thing I did was to remove the rear ROPS as I do not plan to have anyone ride back there. I added the Honda 3 front roof and it fits with no [problems. Added the door cup holders, under dash storage tray and under seat storage. I ended up with extra door cup holder brackets so I put them on the upper front doors to slip a cell phone into. Waiting to put 28 inch Kenda Bear CLaw 8 ply radials on as soon as the fourth one shows up. Winch should be here soon and that is about all I plan to put on it.I have only had one ride in it but impressed with it. It is worth every penny X2 over the pioneer 700. I just could not take 35 MPH. I have owned several Polaris RZRs in the past and the honda Build quality is nice to get back to. I have been pretty loyal to Honda for the last 40 years. I probably would have bought a Talon but with the center console my right foot could not get to the gas pedal.
Here is a little info about me to begin with!
Honda SxS ownership : Yes, not my first
I have owned, or currently own the following: UTV, ATV, 3-wheeler, Motorcycle
My off-road experience level is: Advanced
My favorite place to ride is: Idaho
