P1000 Battery Booster Pack

Hello all, I am looking into a battery booster pack, just in case I run out of juice way in the woods.

I am looking at the NOCO GB40, which is 1000 amps and 12 volts.

NOCO also has a 500 amp 12 volt option.

I would like to get the bigger one, because then I would be able to use on my truck if it ever came to it. The main use is for my Pioneer 1000-5 though. I just don’t want to be damaging the electrical on the Pioneer if the 1000amp is too much.

Can anyone tell me if I am better off with the 1000amp or the 500amp?

Secondary question - can you jump start a 5 litre F150 truck with a Pioneer 1000-5? Just thinking about all the “what if’s”

When booster is attached & item trurned on ( starter - lights - radio ECT.) draws amperage needed to operate.
1000 Amp booster - HOOKED UP CORRECTLY will work 12v electric starters.( push lawn mower to Diesel Tk ) be Sure to Unhook as soon as possible.

Now for the little OEM battery in a Pioneer jumping a Truck? ( Questionable at best )
Truck starter Will Zap the Amps out of Little OEM Pioneer Battery Real Fast.
Condition of the Pioneer battery will determan if you get away with it or Not.
Good chance you will windup with both dead batteries.
Better to use the Pioneer ( while it's still running ) to go for assistance.
