What is everyone using to extend the battery terminal on the 2nd battery? I have seen the odyssey l brackets, but those seem way over priced for what they are. I just want something I can attach to the 2nd battery permanently that will move the terminal up and make it easier to connect/disconnect terminals.

Any suggestions? Preferably something I can pickup at a local hardware store so I can get all my electrical figured out this weekend.

Wander thru your local hardware store. Find a 90 bracket. Open up the hole to fit your bolt. Done.

I tried to find one yesterday with no luck. It is doable, but a PITA to use the terminals on my second battery as is.

Something like that, but straight, I could always bend it flat. Does it matter what type of material do you think?

Tabletop connectors?

If you want copper, grab a few plumbing unions and smash them flat. drill 2 holes and you are done.
You could also run a short battery cable to a bus bar or junction block and attach everything else to the bar/block.

I think what I am going to do is just get a longer terminal bolt and separate out each connector with a nut. This should keep them all tight. I am planning on finishing up the wiring this weekend now that I have gotten past the panic phase of what to do with all the wires!!

For 6 bucks why go thru the trouble of trying to rig a longer bolt with jam nuts on it?

Even with that you will be stacking rings on top of each other. I just figure with a longer bolt that each eyelet will be tightened between nuts. 6 in one half dozen in another I guess.

Its another $5 to ship and will take a week.

I have no intention of using jam nuts. I just want something to extend the terminal so I can get at it easier. Trying to replace the screw and nut on that tiny terminal is the pain in the rear
