P1000 Best Tires for the 1000-5

Hello everyone. I just bought a 1000-5 base model a few months ago. I am looking to put some more aggressive tires on the rig. I don't have a lift or aftermarket a arms. I just want to stick 27" tires on the 12" steel wheels, but what is the best tire? My rig is mainly used for deer and duck hunting, but also riding gravel roads. I have been looking at the itp mud lite series tire, just wanted some input from others with their experience.

Look into the RMATVMC Tusk Terrabites. I believe they have 27" tires for 12" rims.

We rode in TN a few weeks back. 3 of the machines were running those tires. Ranging from 28's, 30's, and 32's. They are great tires for everything except thick mud in my experience.

Mine has Roctanes on it. They match the terrain I’m riding.
The Terrabittes look like they’d be great for gravel roads.

More popular Mud tires: Outlaws/ outlaw 2, STI Outback Max, Terminators, intimidators, silverbacks, BKT

All terrain: Big Horns, Blackwater Evo, Rocktanes, Dirt Commander, carnivores, Terrabite, warthogs, bear claws, .

Plenty of other good ones as well. These are just some of the options.

Really depends on conditions you ride. There is no perfect tire for all occasions, you always give something up to gain elsewhere. What works for some doesn’t work for others.
Tusk terribites are one of the most commonly used now. My favorite all around is by far the BigHorn but the factory is prone to puncture so 6ply is needed. Toughest tire imo is Ripsaw but they are terrible in snow and not the best mud.
Find people with your conditions and riding style, read through the bs and you’ll find your match.

I’d look at the 30x10x14 maxxis rampage, same as the carnivore but longer lasting or the Supergrip K9.
