Hello RichardB, Same symptoms here at about 430 hours (2011 model), Eventually it wouldn't shift from 1st to 2nd properly without backing off the throttle; New camshaft took care of the problem. I changed about everything possible including a new PGM-FI, NEW Throttle Body, different oil due to the shifting, and many other things because mine wouldn't start below about 38 Deg. F. Spent waayyy too much money on parts. I should have just listened to others - these engines sometimes eat camshafts as is evident in other threads. Sorry to say.
