Do the P500 brakes have wear indicators?

Getting a squeaking noise...2900 miles

Im not sure on newer models? But I do recall not seeing them on my 15’ P5

You were just in some nasty clay, might want to get in there good with a power washer and clean it out real good. All it takes is a tiny pebble or grit to cause them to sqeek

My rear brake started making a grinding noise after the July ride. I can't see how much of the pads are left but the back side of the rotor is groved some, so I think I waited a little too long. I'll have to do at least the rear before the next ride.

A) The p500 brakes like to get Tennessee mud in them and squeel.
It's a TN mud thing I think, doesn't happen with Ohio mud.
Once a year (in preparation for the Takeover) I pull the pads and clean the calipers, grease the pins and put it all back together.
The squeeling drives me crazy, you would think honda could do better.

B) l would stick with the stock pads.
But then, I would.
They change the pad material formulation every now and then.
Look at the part number for the current p520 (i didn't bother to look up the latest).
But I'm still on the original pads for my 2018 p500, benefit of engine braking.
