Brand new stuck in 1st gear

Just bought a 2022 p5, it’s 3rd ride out and it wouldn’t shift out if 1st gear. I had to turn it off and on to get it unstuck. It did it 2 times. I then rode it for an hour and it shifted fine( if hard shifting is normal). Thoughts?

Probably just a low battery but if it continues it may need a clutch adjustment, which is super easy to do.

They don't like to shift until they are warmed up.

What was stated above is all good solutions. But…if u “Just bought it”
And u do all what post #2&3 say and it still does it! Take it back to the Stealership, its under warranty. One way or another dont leave us hanging like most, come back and report when u have a solution so it can help the Next Guy, Girl or Trans 🤔

To add to what the guys said above did you have it in Auto when this happened? The Auto program on these rigs suck, and they're worse when they're new. Try running it in Manual, shifting w the paddles until it gets broke in.

It seems to be better after I ran it for a couple hours, switching from auto to manual mode and back to auto. So far so good…..

My 2022 520 shifted hard but after I did the clutch adjustment it is smooth. My buddy had the stiff clunky shifting. Adjusting the clutch fixed it too.
