After my wife text me at work today about a tire being flat, it's all I could think about. I had visions of a huge rip in a sidewall and tire being ruined. When I got home, jumped off the bike and headed straight for the shop. What a relief to find a slow leak around the bead. I removed valve and squeezed tire to find the culprit. Here's the kicker....it was mud and creek gravel wtf?? I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how that got in there and how did it cause loss of air pressure? The road I could see. Thats a harsh environment that will eat up tires like crazy. So I guess I won't be selling it now since it was a fairly small problem. It's all aired up now. I'll be sure and take it easy on the road until I can get to the safe confines of a creek bed. If you've read this far, thanks for hanging with me while I show my smartazz side lol

My guess is the weight of the vehicle was on the driver side and peeled the sidewall back and allow dirt to get in there. Like maybe that ravine that you slid off in?

Yeah but it's more fun to blame the road instead of the rough housing we do lmao. I should've known nothing penetrated those 8plys. They are tough as they come.

This one is Joey doing his Superman impression. For some reason we couldn't get as much air as he did. Raw talent I guess. Notice how gracefully the Pioneer touches down. Not bad for 1700lbs.

I still got a couple more to upload. Got that 700 climbing the rocks and believe it or not...but one of Joey stuck lmao. Technically he wasn't stuck since he could still move back and forth. Just couldn't quite get out of the hole lol.

Finally got these uploaded. First up is Joey working those rocks.
This looked way cooler in person. Drivers side front wheel was up in air more than the video shows. Love watching those Roctanes scratching and digging for traction.

I keep thinking back to childhood when I'd build a wooden ramp for my bicycle. Hmm....this type of thinking is dangerous on so many levels lol

Man!....We brought our daughter down to south Alabama last May for an externship at the Grand Hotel on the Mobile Bay. We totally fell in live with the state. The red dirt looks just like the Northeast Hibbing, Ely, Duluth area of Minnesota (my state) We visited a Confederate cemetery too. Amazing history in all the southern states. Sorry off on a tangent, but worth mentioning. I do wish I could live down there. Great pictures joeymt33.:)

I'm up in that area almost every week. I live just a bit south in the Eau Claire area

The great thing about riding there, is the river will wash your vehicle off for you.

This picture is after we went through the mud pits:

This is our version of pressure washing:

We are so thankful to have such a great place to ride!
