P1000 Can you put shorter tires on P1000eps?

I have a height issue on my 2017 Pioneer 1000eps-3. Can I safely install 25 inch tires on my steel 27x12x9/12 rims? Anybody have experience doing this for same reason? Any help will be appreciated. I can't buy a new toy hauler.

You can. You'll want to make sure the load rating on the smaller tires is sufficient for a UTV. 6-8 ply minimum. Your ride quality may suffer with the shorter sidewall. Obviously you will loose some ground clearance. Another thing to consider is the 27" big Horn tires on the deluxe models barely measure over 26" so a large, true to size or more aggressive 25" tire may not be much smaller

Tomorrow I will try putting it in my toy hauler. We'll see what it takes. Measurements show I have 1/16 of an inch of clearance. I'm hoping that the front of the rig drops as it enters giving me even more room. Keep you advised.

I have that problem getting in and out of my garage, I can drive it in because the roof will just rub and the angle of the dangle on the roof going in is fine but when it comes time to back out I have to grab the ROPS in back and pull the back end down a little and roll it out a bit to clear.

I had some small tires on my rig for when I ran to town.. They were ok just didn't like the way they lowered the top end with being on the highway and all.

Just grab some ratchet straps and tie down the suspension. Bumpers to a-arms. Get 2-3" easily this way.

If it is for toy hauler clearance issues, I'd chop the top rather than use smaller tires. The handling would be so different .

I have the same issue. Bought my toyhauler for my streetbike, later got the pioneer. I need 8 inches, so I'm trying to find a small wheel/tire combo just for loading and unloading.

What kind of toy hauler do you have? I am looking at a Keystone Raptor425TS for my P1000-5. Dealer says it will fit but I won't buy until I see it inside. Light bar on front of roof but I think slope makes light bar even with rear of roof. It goes in 7' high garage door with a couple inches to spare. I am more concerned about width of Honda and being able to open door and get out after driving it inside. I assume all toy haulers are same width except for garage seat or bed considerations.

Maybe I forgot how to read a tape measure, my rear tires are 24 and a half inches tall, stock wheels are 13, that's 11 inches difference. I'm thinking tread for recap tires screwed to a set of stock steel wheels would work, might have to winch in, but could drive out, play pit crew with a small floor jack, impact gun and a beer should do it.
