I just put mine in the case and lay in the bed.Does anyone make a good saw mount for the 1000-5? We have property in North Idaho, and I don't leave the place without my Husky. Period.
I've looked at a couple parts places online, but can't seem to find what I'm lookin for.
here's my OE Yamaha mount.. works like a charm.

That one could work... Thanks!
Correct, just homebrew and aftermarket solutions. That one could work... Thanks!
I take it Honda doesn't make one specifically for the Pioneer?
If you want to mount it like I did mine, you will want to use a cutoff wheel to reduce the main metal plate by 2/3 so you can lay your seat down. You will also need to drill new holes for mounting. It isn’t bad - prob 10 min job and I’m real happy with mine - keeps chainsaw out of the way while also protecting it.What did you have to modify? I have a 1000-5 and trying to find where I want to mount my kolpin Mount. Got a dewalt 12” chainsaw from amazon coming this week.

Too much mud gets thrown into bed by tires to have a nice saw exposed like that.
