Coalmont TN Ride June 21-22

I went back with the family on 4 July and tried to ride some different places. We found some cool stuff.

Here’s lunch by the creek..

We found a large sinkhole in the ground with a waterfall going down into the bottom of it and flowing away through an underground cave. It was really cool.

I had to use my 75 foot extension rope to be able to get to the bottom

I think we were within an hour by trail maybe even 30 minutes but it’s hard to say because I did not drive to where we were riding on the camping trip.

OK, then you entered from that other entrance point, somewhere south I believe. In general, it looks like a more scenic area.

That’s correct, we entered near the town of Jasper Tennessee and it was slightly less rough and more scenic

Yes, nice place. I’m wanting to take my fathers motorhome up there in August and set up for the weekend. They got several cabins and a dozen or so 30a hook ups. We should plan a ride.

We got to check their schedule because they have some kind a big motorcycle event in August

It’s about half an hour when I calculated it because you have to drive about 15 minutes once you get off the interstate at Jasper.
