Guys with snorkel out of the hood (like @joeymt33 's) what did you use for coupling the 2.75" pipe under the hood?
@joeymt33 I see what you used, but I'm trying to find something hopefully I can just run grab at an auto parts store, etc. Would prefer 2.75 to 3.
Thanks...

Do you have Amazon prime account? You could probably have it at your house tomorrow

If you do not have a Amazon prime account, I can order one of those couplers and bring it with me. It's free two day shipping if you didn't already know this

I just looked it up for you on Amazon and found out that it is not eligible for Amazon prime. :(

You could also find a similar product a menards or building supply in the plumbing section. Good luck!

Now... How big of hole to cut in hood to allow enough slide to remove hood without moving pipe around? 4" I assume... Just curious to what others cut.
My pipe will be 3".

I used 3" pipe also. I used a 3.125" hole saw. The pipe moves a little when sliding the hood down, but nothing too bad. I actually wish I would have cut it 3.25". That way I would have been able to put a piece of rubber trim around the edge.

The tough part was getting the hole in the right place. I must have measured 10 times and took about 45 minutes before actually doing it. This is one hole you want to get right the first time.. lol

If you want to put a piece of trim around the edge, @CumminsPusher might be able to tell you what size to cut. I know he used trim on his first P1K build.

I used a 3 1/2 in hole saw on my Joey snorkel. I trimmed the edge off with automotive black door edge molding. Looks good

Did any of y'all retain the black cover over the relays, or did you leave them exposed under the hood?

I cut a hole in it for the air intake, leaving the cover over the relays.

I used. 2" rubber coupler from Menards and greased that bish up with dawn and got it on there, then I ran 2" pipe. After the fact, looks like everyone else ran 3". Oh well, cost me 6 bucks. And I cut the hole crooked so a 3" won't fit anyway now.
