I have metal fabrication skills and would like to build a rear bumper for my P1000-3. Just looking for ideas/pics on building a nice heavy-duty rear bumper. Thinking of adding some D-rings for strapping the machine down on the trailer.
That’s awesome, I’ll buy the supplies if you’ll make us both one??I have metal fabrication skills and would like to build a rear bumper for my P1000-3. I’ll have to build a prototype and see if it’s marketable, stay tuned. That’s awesome, I’ll buy the supplies if you’ll make us both one??
I’ll have to put some thought into it. I think that a combination of strength/rigidity can be balanced with not being overly gaudy. These types of projects can be exciting.So.. I’ll just throw this out there.
I have an EMP rear bumper that dumps with the bed... I like it.
You’re going to have to have a lot of extra weight in the bumper to make it sturdy enough to strap and pull from. Might I suggest these as pull points instead.
Have a picture handy?I have a wild boar atv rear bumper on my P3 it’s a nice bumper it comes with 2 led lights made into the bumper and it has hooks made into the bumper and the bed still dumps the bumper is heavy duty I think it costs around 250 dollars

Capable of dumping and pulling I don’t think will mix... either or, sure. But I don’t see the combo working.I started this one with factory front bumper not done yet to many other things going on like @JTW I was going to make it dump with bed not strong enough for d rings I just put one in receiver View attachment 96299View attachment 96300

Hey that’s a good idea utilizing the stock front bumper. I’ve got one laying around that I could never get rid of. Guess I can repurpose it.I started this one with factory front bumper not done yet to many other things going on like @JTW I was going to make it dump with bed not strong enough for d rings I just put one in receiver View attachment 96299View attachment 96300
