Had a situation where it was 20 degrees for several days, Pioneer under shelter. Battery good with voltage and load.

Went to start and had an extremely difficult time, a couple of times it acted like it wanted to fire but not enough juice. Smelled flooding.

I turned the key off and the typical dash lights stayed on?
Tried starting several more times and same thing with the dash lights staying on with key off and taken out.

I disconnected the neg terminal and it reset itself.
Used a portable power bank which gave it enough juice to start.

After driving awhile and warming up the dash lights went off when ket turned off like normal.

The only thing I can think of is some relay stuck closed.

One thing you can do is to re-create the situation then unplug the switch.
While it is off do an ohms reading across whatever pins the print on the club member page indicates.
that will tell you everything.
They do seem to not like rain or mud in them then freeze them they get angry.
Report back and let us know what you find.

Where do I find this? (the print on the club member page indicates)

Funny it went away after I disconnected the battery for a bit....like it reset something.
