P1000 Deluxe or Non Deluxe 1000-5

I was wondering how the plastic panels on deluxe models are holding up??? I'm trying to decide between deluxe or non deluxe in 1000-5.. Is the thousand dollars worth led lights,side panels and some ok factory rim? Thanks for the help. Also did they do some clutch updates on 2017 models???

It's not a bad deal for the extra stuff.. just depends what you want. I personally like the deluxe better. And if you scratch the side panels they're cheap to replace. The 17's do have some minor clutch upgrades but we really won't know how much until they're out.

I think the tires on the non deluxe are tougher, as they are a 6 ply bias, where the deluxe has 4 ply radials. If you have to upgrade the deluxe tires from the start, it's kind of a waste of money pay Honda the extra money they add for them.
I'm sure you can buy the LED headlights and the side panels pretty reasonable from a Honda parts wholesaler.
