I run Mobil one synthetic L 75-90.
I’m in pa and don’t ride much in extreme cold.
I did not notice any difference from what came in the machine to the Mobil.

I’ll be using Mobil1 75-140 this spring on our 2021 700-4D, both front and back gear cases.
what state are you in ? if your not in a hot ot state id drop back to the 75-90.

I run something-140. Seriously considering some 190 (I think,) or some 240. I've gotten the rest of the machine about as quite as it will get, but that god forsaken diff is still one of loudest noises on the 700. I'd shove it in the freezer and see if it actually pours first of course.

well your in a xesert with that sand lol. mines pretty quiet with 75-90 in Louisiana heat but i do submerge it alot. im woried about a cold state blowing a seal prematurely from too thick of oil

Ya I'd test the cold pour. It does get down into the 30's during the winter here, I so can't just put grease in the thing.
The diff thing is definitely speed dependent. Some trails, I'd never notice it.

I have been using 85w140 for two years no issues in Michigan.
Little quieter but nothing to write home about.
